Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will repair washers and dryers at various customer locations. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working independently and has a very strong mechanical aptitude.

• Responsibilities:
• •Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
• •Disassembles machines and examines mechanical and electrical parts.
• •Reassembles appliances, adjusts pulleys, and lubricates moving parts.
• •Replaces worn or defective parts and adjusts motors.
• •Cleans and washes parts.
• •Advises Dispatch Department of equipment in the field that should be replaced with new equipment.
• •Drives a Company vehicle to and from work locations.

• Requirements:
• •High School Diploma or GED.
• •Good driving record.
• •Customer service skills.
• •Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written). Bilingual skills (English and
• Spanish) are desirable.
• •Possess at least two solid years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge (and/or training)
• •Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck.
• •Prior washer/dryer repair experience is highly desirable.
• •Knowledge of local area cities and streets is desirable.
