At Ciena, the Analyst, Renewal Services Quoting role helps drive the success of the services business through accurate, data-driven maintenance and renewal quotations. This position collaborates across global teams to deliver high-quality proposals, identify revenue opportunities, and improve quoting processes. The role contributes to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business growth.

How you will make an impact:

• •Collaborate with geographically diverse teams to deliver services quotations within defined timelines.
• •Analyze customer installed base data, service support metrics, and account inputs to develop quote packages aligned with commercial guidelines.
• •Identify up-sell opportunities and present available service options that address customer requirements.
• •Create and manage maintenance proposal collateral and maintain accurate documentation repositories.
• •Evaluate current quoting tools and processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• •Identify customer inventory true-up opportunities that enhance maintenance revenue.
• •Ensure services quotations align with Opportunity Management Process (OMP) guidelines.

The must haves:

• •Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
• •Experience: 5+ years of experience in services quoting or a related role, preferably within the telecommunications or networking industry.
• •Application of data analysis to develop accurate and competitive service quotations.
• •Attention to documentation quality and data accuracy in quotation development.
• •Utilization of verbal and written communication skills in cross-functional and customer-facing interactions.
• •Demonstrated collaboration with stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• •Application of organizational and prioritization skills in deadline-driven environments.

Nice to haves:

• •Education: MBA OR Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance or related field.
• •Experience: 3+ years of experience in a business planning, pricing, or metric-type costing environment.
