This is where Artificial Intelligence comes to life

The Simulation team calculates the drives, gearboxes, and structures of our robots before the first prototype exists. Using FEM, CFD, and multibody simulations, it secures performance, service life, and noise behavior.

Your mission & challenges

You size our electric machines electromagnetically and optimize them for torque density, efficiency, and noise behavior.

Electromagnetic sizing and simulation of electric machines (FEM, e.g., Ansys Maxwell, JMAG, Motor-CAD)

Optimizing torque, losses, cogging torque, and NVH behavior

Creating performance maps and handing results to controls and thermal sizing

Correlating simulation with test-bench measurements

Supporting electric machine design with design decisions

What we're looking for

Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or physics

Experience in electromagnetic FEM simulation of electric machines

Knowledge of motor topologies (PMSM, BLDC) and their sizing

Scripting skills (Python, MATLAB) are a plus

Analytical, results-oriented way of working
