What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• •Relevant Qualifications : PSV, HGV, or light vehicle maintenance and repair (minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). We’ll also consider candidates with 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience if you’re not formally qualified.
• •Full UK Driving License : Must have a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
• •PCV License : A PCV license is preferred, or you must be willing to obtain one.
• •Medical Fitness : Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.
• •Commitment to Quality : A passion for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance work.

Your Role

As a Skilled Engineer, you will:

• •Perform planned and preventative maintenance , fault diagnosis, and reactive repairs on a fleet of commercial buses.
• •Ensure that all vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs meet Arriva and DVSA standards .
• •Assist with MOT preparation , preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks.
• •Improve bus reliability through continuous monitoring, maintenance, and repair.
