Snowflake Data Engineer 1

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS .
• •Build ETL/ELT solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• •Develop and optimise Snowflake data models, performance, and cost efficiency.
• •Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• •Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• •Ensure data security, governance, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• •Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Required Skills

• •5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• •Strong hands-on experience with:
• •Snowflake
• •AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, Redshift)
• •SQL & Data Modelling
• •Spark / PySpark
• •dbt
• •Apache Airflow

• •Hands-on DevOps experience with:
• •Git
• •Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps
• •Terraform
• •CI/CD Pipelines
• •Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• •Monitoring & Automation

Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and Cloud Data Architecture.

Preferred Skills

• •SnowPro Certification.
• •AWS Certification.
• •Experience with Kafka, Databricks, and Data Governance frameworks.
