Your Tasks

• •Analyzing and extending existing software systems and applications in a heterogeneous, complex IT system environment based on an IBM mainframe architecture
• •Extending and optimising existing systems and applications using DB2, IMS and CICS
• •Software development with COBOL, SQL, JCL for mainframe software
• •Creating and maintaining complex SQL queries for data retrieval
• •Setting up automated batch processes within frameworks such as TWS / OPC
• •IT project management and stakeholder management
• •Creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed systems and applications

Your Profile

• •Completed studies in practical / applied computer science or training as an IT specialist
• •Experience in the mainframe environment with COBOL and in the conception of software as well as tuning options with practice in database modeling
• •Practical experience with complex SQL queries as well as database performance analyses and their optimization
• •Confident handling of database management systems , preferably DB2 and the associated database languages and tools
• •Knowledge of the structures in TWS / OPC for setting up automated batch processes
• -
• Practical experience in IT project management , e.g. process risk analysis, requirements management, business client communication

Good English language skills , knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage
