Project Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
- Key job responsibilities
- - Design and Implement Telecom Components, Applications and Services
- - Partner with the Satellite, Networks and Security engineering teams
- - Design components, services, and relevant data models

- Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- A day in the life
- Have you wanted an opportunity to develop the software applications and services for an advanced global telecom service? This role is for a Software Development Engineer who will design, build, and maintain components and services of Project Leo's Customer Engagement Systems and interact with the core Leo Network.
- About the team
- Our team owns developing the architecture, solutions & roadmap for managing the customer ordering and billing lifecycle for communications services, subscriber management services, customer notifications and customer metrics and analytics.
Basic qualifications
- - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- - Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred qualifications
- - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
