Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced iOS Mobile Developer with strong backend expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building native iOS applications while collaborating with backend teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• •Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• •Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
• •Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
• •Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
• •Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• •Automates manual release activities
• •Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
• •Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKi
• •Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate mobile applications with backend microservices
• •Develop and enhance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• •Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver business solutions
• •Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability
• •Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture reviews
• •Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across mobile and backend platforms
• •Support CI/CD pipelines and automation processes for application deployment
• •Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices

Required Qualifications:

• •7+ years of experience in iOS application development
• •Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Xcode
• •7+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development
• •Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• •Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
• •Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile development methodologies
• •Knowledge of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and mobile performance optimization
• •Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• •Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• •Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• •Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
• •Ownership mindset with a focus on quality and delivery
• •Continuous learning and innovation mindset

Desired Qualifications:

• •Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• •Knowledge of Kafka, event-driven architectures, and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
• •Experience with mobile security, authentication, and authorization frameworks
• •Familiarity with DevOps tools, monitoring, and observability platforms
• •Experience supporting enterprise-scale mobile applications with large user bases
• •2+ years of relevant work experience
• •Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role

Pay range

$102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
