Software Engineer in Test

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• •Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of software test systems.
• •Prepare and maintain automated functional tests of software defined networks.
• •Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians.
• •Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Required Qualifications

• •B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• •Typically 2+ years experience in one or more of the following areas:
• - Object oriented design
• - Object oriented languages (C#)
• - Scripting languages (Python)

- DevOps or CI/CD

- Automated testing

• •Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• •Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• •Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Modern communications protocols
• •Ethernet networking
• •Software-defined networking
• •OT systems
• •Windows and Linux development experience
• •C/C++
• •JavaScript/TypeScript/React
• •Project management

Pay Range Data

Associate Software Engineer: $82,000 - $122,900

Software Engineer: $89,400 - $134,100

Lead Software Engineer: $107,600 - $161,500

We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills
