Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Automation Engineer with 3 years of experience in Python-based test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high software quality.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Testing

  • * Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
  • * Create and execute automated test scripts.
  • * Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.

Test Design & Execution

  • * Analyse functional and technical requirements to create test designs and test cases.
  • * Perform manual testing (functional, regression, sanity, smoke) when required.
  • * Execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.

Collaboration & Agile Practices

  • * Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • * Provide timely status updates and test reports

Quality Assurance Best Practices

  • * Implement and follow QA processes, standards, and methodologies
  • * Ensure high quality, performance, and reliability of applications
  • * Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements

Required Technical Skills

Programming & Automation

  • * Strong proficiency in Python.
  • * Hands-on experience with automation frameworks.

Testing Knowledge

  • * Solid understanding of:
  • * SDLC & STLC
  • * Test case design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, etc.)
  • * Experience in:
  • * Functional Testing
  • * Regression Testing
  • * Integration Testing
  • * System Testing

Soft Skills

  • * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • * Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • * Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
