  • Analyse and interpret large volumes of operational and customer data to support solution development and informed decision-making.
  • Conduct capacity planning, resource modelling, productivity analysis and financial modelling to identify risks, opportunities and future growth requirements.
  • Develop robust business cases and demand forecasts, ensuring proposed solutions are operationally viable, commercially competitive and scalable.
  • Design and optimise process flows and operational methodologies to improve efficiency, productivity and service performance.
  • Create facility layouts using tools such as AutoCAD or SketchUp to support solution proposals.

  • Lead and manage solution design deliverables, ensuring risks, dependencies, issues and critical-path activities are effectively controlled.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, influencing decision-making and securing alignment throughout the proposal process.
  • Maintain strong market and product knowledge, sharing insights and best practices across the wider business.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong Contract Logistics (3PL) experience, ideally within a solution design, operations, engineering or continuous improvement environment.
  • Experience within international supply chains, with a solid understanding of the key drivers that create value for customers.
  • Strong warehouse and distribution operational knowledge, including automation technologies, warehouse modelling and operational design principles.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes, solution design methodologies and business case development.
  • Understanding of trade, regulatory, statutory, security and compliance requirements relevant to logistics operations.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and supporting technologies.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Advanced analytical capability with experience handling and interpreting large-scale operational and customer datasets.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with Power BI experience highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to convert complex data into meaningful insights, capacity models, resource plans, productivity calculations and commercial recommendations.
  • Experience in cost modelling, forecasting, demand analysis and investment appraisals.
  • Ability to break down complex operational processes, identify improvement opportunities and design practical, scalable solutions.

Personal Attributes

  • Customer-focused with a consultative and data-driven approach.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Comfortable operating within a matrix, multicultural organisation and building relationships across functions and geographies.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project ownership, organisational skills and attention to detail.
