Specialist, Product Operations

Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

  • Overview:
  • Mastercard’s Security Solutions Organization (SSO) develops and delivers world-class risk, security, and fraud prevention products and services to Mastercard customers across the globe. Within SSO, the Fraud Reporting and Insights program powers data-driven decision-making and fraud prevention strategies and supports Fraud Prevention products and services across Mastercard and the Payment Ecosystem. Our products ingest fraud data, enriches insights, and activates those insights into actionable intelligence. We enable stakeholders in the payments ecosystem to detect risks, benchmark performance, and drive strategic fraud prevention across the ecosystem.
  • Role:
  • As a specialist responsible for product operations, you will partner with the Global Product Management team to:
  • Assist with data pulls and development of reports/dashboards for internal stakeholders
  • Own the Mastercard Cloud Based Payments billing process for monthly/quarterly global billing and regional sales programs
  • Provide customer product support, including responses to inquiries, communications, and training for customers, regional product partners, and sales teams
  • Contribute to the development of product strategies, roadmaps, documentation, and go-to-market requirements
  • Drive data analytics; create, evaluate, track, manage, and communicate product success and shortcomings
  • All about You:
  • Relevant knowledge and experience with product management principals, product innovation and development.
  • Self-motivated, problem solver who is results driven and has a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment.
  • Outstanding written/oral, collaborative, and organizational skills; comfortable engaging and interacting with all levels of management.
  • Knowledge of data analytics with the ability to interpret and translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field or requisite professional experience.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
