Are you passionate about Cloud Security and Artificial Intelligence? Do you have a unique combination of deep technical knowledge, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills?

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a AI Security Solutions Architect to work with our largest customers. In this vital role, you will help overcome barriers to AWS & AI adoption by identifying and tackling major security, risk, and compliance questions from stakeholders, as well as build and maintain CISO/CRO and executive-level relationships becoming their AI Security Advisor. You will work directly with customer security, audit, risk and compliance teams to help them understand how to confidently utilize AWS, identify risk and design controls, setup ongoing assurance, and establish automated compliance.

The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to customers and will work with AWS sales, business development, solutions architecture and product teams to help accelerate adoption by removing compliance and audit as barriers and suggest improvements to our services to meet the customer needs.

This position is based in Santiago, Chile (but open to be hired in other LATAM locations such as ARG/CO/BR/MX) and the role requires approximately 15% travel (including international).

  • Key job responsibilities
  • - Work with AWS customers to convey cloud computing security and risk management best practices
  • - Work with other teams within AWS develop the internal security expertise and to drive revenue
  • - Develop technical content, such as white papers, reference architectures, blogposts, workshops, or code samples that can be used by our customers to assist them in deploying secure cloud-based solutions
  • - Assess security-related knowledge across AWS sales and solutions architecture teams and develop plans to address gaps
  • - Presenting about security topics at AWS events, and represent AWS at security conferences by delivering presentations and lectures

  • The Security, Networking and Compliance team is a team of specialists distributed in the main LATAM cities that handles the expert-level customer requirements that are too complex for generalist solutions architects to handle.

Basic qualifications

  • - 2+ years of experience working with AI
  • - 4+ years of experience in a Cloud Security customer-facing role, such as Cloud Security Architect, Cloud Security Consultant, Cloud Security Technical Sales or technical sales for cloud security solutions or SA specialized in Security (Area of Depth).
  • - Hands-on experience securing AWS environments and understanding of architecting on AWS
  • - Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences including training, workshops, publications
  • - Ability to communicate effectively in English within business and technical settings (Verbal and Written).

Preferred qualifications

  • - Security Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty Certification, CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP, or PCI-DSS ISA or similar are valued.
  • - Experience presenting on Security conferences
  • - Experience Scaling through the creation of assets such as blogposts, articles, videos, podcasts, or engaging with technical communities
