Position Purpose:
We're looking for a Senior Analyst who goes beyond reporting to solve business problems and deliver insights that drive action. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills, business acumen, curiosity, and personal autonomy to help shape the future of reporting and analytics for Online Merchandising.

As a Senior Analyst, Online Business Analytics, you will use data to influence how millions of customers engage with HomeDepot.com and our mobile experiences. By leveraging advanced analytics, experimentation, and customer behavior insights, you will identify growth opportunities, optimize digital experiences, and provide executive-ready recommendations that improve both customer outcomes and business performance.
This role offers significant visibility across Online, Product, Marketing, and Merchandising organizations and the opportunity to directly influence strategic decisions at enterprise scale. Supported by THD's Online Analytics and Business Intelligence mission focused on improving the interconnected shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- 20% Work with other departments providing analytical insight on business performance.
- 20% Research and analyze business trends & customer behavior data to identify opportunities for website enhancements.
- 20% Analyze web analytics data as well as other offline data to evaluate site performance.
- 10% Work with the Web Analyst to provide weekly Web Analytic dashboards.
- 10% Takes the lead on new programs and initiatives for Web Analytics Team.
- 10% Provide web analytics strategy to Specialty Channel.

Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance
- Demonstrated business/financial modeling capabilities with tools such as Excel and Access
- Demonstrated skills in applying statistical analysis principles to business challenges
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; self-starter
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience building dashboards, reporting solutions, or analytics applications (Tableau, Streamlit, or similar platforms)
- Advanced SQL proficiency and experience working with large-scale digital data environments
- Experience with Google BigQuery (GBQ) and Adobe Analytics including data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Codex, or similar platforms to accelerate analysis, development, and problem solving
- Understanding of data foundations, governance, documentation, and best practices (preferred)
Minimum Education:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
