About SuperK

SuperK is a membership-led value retail chain built for Bharat. Operating across Tier 3 to Tier 5 towns in India, we bring a modern retail experience to small-town India—without compromising on value, quality, or trust. With 150+ stores, a growing E-Com presence, and deep customer love, we’re reimagining how India shops.

Backed by marquee investors like Blume Ventures and XEED Ventures, we’re scaling fast—and marketing plays a critical role in driving that growth.

About the Role

As an Associate / Senior Associate – HR at SuperK, you will work closely with the HR Team, Co-founders, and business leaders to build a strong people function as we scale.

You will be the day-to-day HR partner for employees and managers — supporting them on performance, engagement, employee relations, onboarding, and other people matters. This is a hands-on generalist role with a strong HRBP orientation, where you will help build processes from the ground up and gradually take ownership of key people initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with managers and employees on day-to-day people matters, concerns, and employee relations.
  • Build strong relationships with teams and understand their people-challenges, structure, and talent needs.
  • Support managers on performance conversations, feedback, team dynamics, and people decisions.
  • Identify people-risks and work with the HR Lead on appropriate interventions.

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Run employee connects, pulse checks, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Identify recurring employee concerns and drive them towards resolution.
  • Own the employee experience across key lifecycle moments including onboarding, confirmation, internal movements, and exits.

Performance & Development

  • Drive the performance management process and support managers through goal-setting, reviews, feedback, and improvement plans.
  • Identify development needs and support L&D initiatives and manager development programs.

HR Processes & People Operations

  • Support the HR Lead in building and implementing HR policies, processes, and people programs.
  • Maintain people dashboards and track key metrics such as attrition, engagement, performance, and onboarding.
  • Support HR compliance, audits, and other people operations as required.

What We Would Like to See in You

  • 2–5 years of experience in HR , preferably in a generalist, HRBP, or People Partner role.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes including employee engagement, performance management, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Comfortable working closely with managers and employees across levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with maturity.
  • A hands-on, problem-solving mindset — you enjoy figuring things out rather than waiting for established processes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where systems are still being built.
  • Experience in a startup, retail, FMCG, consumer internet, logistics, or other operations-heavy environment is a plus.
