Job Description

Workday HCM Technical – Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain Workday HCM technical solutions based on business requirements.
  • Develop and support Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and Web Services.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems such as payroll, benefits, finance, identity management, and other enterprise applications.
  • Configure and support Workday Business Processes , notifications, validations, condition rules, and approvals.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and advanced reports .
  • Work with Workday RaaS (Report-as-a-Service) and Workday APIs for data extraction and system integrations.
  • Build and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and other relevant technologies.
  • Perform integration monitoring, troubleshooting, error handling, and performance optimization .
  • Support data conversion, migration, and mass data loads using EIB and other Workday tools.
  • Develop and maintain custom objects and technical configurations while following Workday best practices.
  • Collaborate with functional teams across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, and other Workday modules .
  • Participate in unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), UAT, regression testing, and production validation .
  • Analyze technical issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution for Workday integrations and configurations.
  • Manage Workday releases , assess impact on integrations and custom reports, and perform required remediation.
  • Prepare technical design documents, integration specifications, mapping documents, test scripts, and support documentation.
  • Work with business stakeholders, functional consultants, integration teams, and external vendors to deliver technical solutions.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and appropriate access controls are maintained within Workday solutions.
  • Provide production support and participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions for Contact Center operations.
  • Configure and extend Dynamics 365 Customer Service capabilities including case management, queues, routing, SLAs, entitlements, knowledge management, and customer interactions.

  • Configure Customer Service admin center , queues, workstreams, routing rules, agent experiences, and productivity tools.
  • Implement SLAs, entitlements, automatic case creation, escalation rules, and service-level monitoring .
  • Configure and customize case management, activities, forms, views, dashboards, and business processes .
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics for Contact Center operations.
  • Work with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights where required for customer data and engagement scenarios.
  • Configure Copilot and AI capabilities within Dynamics 365 Customer Service/Contact Center, where applicable.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, workflow, plugin, and performance issues.
  • Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation .
  • Support data migration and data quality activities using Dataverse and Dynamics 365 tools .
  • Manage solutions across development, test, UAT, and production environments using Power Platform ALM practices.
  • Work with functional consultants, business stakeholders, architects, integration teams, and other technical teams.
  • Prepare technical design documents, solution specifications, deployment documentation, and support documentation.
  • Provide production support and participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
  • Follow Microsoft best practices for security, scalability, performance, maintainability, and extensibility of Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
