The Senior Email Marketing Specialist is a key operational resource within customer marketing team, ensuring customer email campaigns are configured accurately and deployed according to established processes and standards. This role will collaborate with stakeholders, agency partners and internal teams to ensure email journeys, automations, audience data and creative assets are delivered timely and configured accurately for deployment and post-campaign analytics.

Essential Functions

  • Execute customer email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using approved creative, audience criteria, business requirements, and established deployment processes, ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Build and configure campaign emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including content, personalization, dynamic elements, links, tracking parameters, and other campaign components according to approved design and technical specifications.
  • Partner with agency resources and internal stakeholders to develop, configure, test, and maintain customer journeys, automations, data extensions, and other campaign workflows required to support email communications.
  • Perform detailed quality assurance and pre-deployment validation of email campaigns, including audience selection, content, links, personalization, suppression logic, send settings, journey configuration, and other critical campaign elements.
  • Troubleshoot campaign and platform issues by reviewing Salesforce Marketing Cloud data, configurations, automation activity, journey behavior, and send results; coordinate with agency and technical partners to identify root causes and resolve issues.
  • Monitor campaign execution and delivery to identify errors, unexpected results, or potential risks, escalating issues appropriately, and supporting timely resolution.
  • Support post-campaign analysis by compiling campaign results, identifying notable performance trends or anomalies, and providing accurate campaign data to Customer Marketing stakeholders.
  • Maintain campaign documentation, QA records, process documentation, and configuration standards to support consistent execution, operational controls, and audit readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign workflows, quality controls, documentation, and platform processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce deployment risk.

Requirements for Success

Education & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, quality assurance or related discipline.
  • Understanding of marketing campaign execution, including audience management and segmentation, suppression logic, and quality assurance.
  • Experience performing detailed campaign quality assurance prior to deployment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities:
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail when reviewing campaigns, identifying errors and risks before deployment.
  • Uses strong analytical problem-solving skills to investigate campaign issues and identify solutions.
  • Displays process discipline by consistently following established procedures, approvals, and documentation requirements.
  • Shows technical curiosity by understanding how journeys, automations, data, and campaign configurations work together.
  • Takes on quality ownership by ensuring communications are accurate and ready for deployment.

  • Responsible for complying with all the Bank’s internal control policies and procedures.

Work Environment/Physical Demand s

  • This position is hybrid and requires employees to be on-site approximately 2 days per week. Flexibility can be discussed based on team needs.
  • Work is in an office environment, sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; works with computer equipment for prolonged periods of time.

  • Travel is generally not required
