Sr. Financial Analyst, Creator Services, Amazon Music Finance

Amazon's Creator Services organization leads creator programs that span media, commerce, and culture. The Creator Services team includes creator development team Creator Partnerships, creator content studio Wondery, and physical production facilities Studio126. We connect creators and Amazon's diverse businesses, helping bring big ideas to life across Wondery, Amazon Music, Twitch, Audible, Amazon Games, and beyond.

Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst on the Amazon Music Finance team, supporting Creator Services. This position will play a key role in driving Creator Services strategy across marketing, production, and operations. Join us in making Amazon the home for creators.

• * Own, refine, and develop key areas of Creator Services's content valuation model
• * Work with the business team to build business models, pricing strategies, and value propositions and drive near-term and long-term forecasting
• * Collaborate with and present to the senior leadership team on a regular basis
• * Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations
• * Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances

Basic qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• - 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• - 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• - 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

Preferred qualifications

• - MBA, or CPA
• - 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
