Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Back-end), Agentic Governance

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a back-end focus to build the Agentic Governance services within Adobe's Experience Platform team in Bucharest.

Trust and Governance builds the services that enable our enterprise customers to trust us with their data: access control, data usage policies and lineage enforcement, catalog, privacy and consent, audit and security capabilities such as customer-managed keys. Agentic Governance extends these foundations to AI agents: who an agent is, what it may do, and a verifiable record of what it did.

You will take full responsibility for services in production, and deliver UI features. Enterprises are putting AI agents to work on their data, and regulation such as the EU AI Act is setting the standard for governing them. This is a new domain, built from Bucharest from the first service.

What You'll Do

• •Design, build and operate services and APIs for agent identity, permissions, policy and audit.
• •Ship UI features throughout the entire process.
• •Own services running live: deployments, on-call, observability and cloud cost.
• •Engage in AI-driven development responsibly, and contribute to the team's testing and quality gates.
• •Take part in design discussions and code reviews, and help improve how the team builds and runs services.

What You Need to Succeed

• •5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• •Working proficiency in React and TypeScript: you can ship a UI feature end to end.
• •Strong back-end experience in a modern language such as Python or Java (FastAPI, Spring or similar): designing, testing and operating REST and GraphQL APIs.
• •Cloud and infrastructure: AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• •You have owned a service in production, including deployments, on-call, incidents and cloud cost.
• •You use AI-assisted development daily and review its output as carefully as your own code.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Accessibility standards (WCAG).
• •RAG or vector search in a production API.
• •Event streaming, such as Kafka.
• •Observability and distributed tracing.
• •Infrastructure as code.
