Ring & Blink Products & Delivery Org is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join our Product Sustaining team. You will own end-to-end program execution for sustaining hardware initiatives across Ring and Blink's mass production devices — from post-ramp through end-of-life. This includes leading engineering changes, second-source qualifications, cost-down programs, new SKU development, and technical/operational issue resolution across global cross-functional teams, Contract Manufacturers (CMs), and 3rd-party labs to ensure long-term product quality, supply resilience, and customer experience.

At Ring/Blink, Sr. TPMs operate with AI-native fluency — using AI tools as a core part of how you plan, execute, communicate, and deliver. You will set AI-native standards for the sustaining function, build reusable workflows the team adopts, and measure success by customer impact. You own every output you ship, AI-assisted or not.

The ideal candidate brings experience leading complex hardware sustaining programs, navigating system and supply trade-offs, and driving continuous improvement — while leveraging AI to multiply team effectiveness.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • - Program Ownership: Own end-to-end sustaining program management for Ring/Blink devices — from mass production through EOL. Manage multiple concurrent programs across the portfolio.
  • - Cross-Functional Execution: Lead Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and CMs through engineering changes, PRQ, 2nd-source qualifications, and new SKU development. Build schedules, track milestones, and ensure on-time delivery aligned to business priorities.
  • - Engineering Change & 2nd-Source: Facilitate intake reviews and impact assessments. Drive 2nd-source programs end-to-end — datasheet comparison, test plan development, production validation, and cut-in monitoring — to strengthen supply resilience.
  • - Supply Risk & Cost-Down: Proactively mitigate material risks (shortages, EOL, single-source exposure). Drive cost-down through component re-selection, process optimization, and alternate qualification to prevent line-down.
  • - Quality & Field Performance: Monitor field metrics (returns, failure rates, complaints); drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Close the loop from field failures back to engineering and suppliers for systemic improvement.
  • - Stakeholder Communication: Deliver concise program health updates to leadership. Mentor junior TPMs; drive process and tooling improvements that raise team execution standards.
  • - AI-Native Practice: Design workflows with AI embedded from the start — automated status generation, risk detection, and reusable tooling (reports, scorecards, issue pipelines) the team adopts. Develop expertise in at least one AI domain relevant to TPM work.
  • A day in the life
  • You manage 5–8 concurrent sustaining programs across the Ring/Blink portfolio. In a typical week you're reviewing AI-flagged supply risk alerts, driving a 2nd-source PRQ test plan with your engineering counterpart, coordinating with Operation team on a component shortage mitigation, leading an intake review for a new cost-down request, and reviewing the auto-generated sustaining portfolio dashboard before your leadership read-out. You balance reactive issue resolution with proactive quality and cost improvement — and you're continuously building AI workflows that automate the routine so you and the team can focus on decisions, strategy, and customer impact.
  • About the team
  • The Ring & Blink Product Sustaining HW TPM team ensures that our shipped devices continue to deliver high-quality performance throughout their lifecycle. We manage engineering changes, qualify alternate components, drive cost optimization, and resolve field quality issues across the full Ring and Blink device portfolio — cameras and video doorbells. Our team operates in Taipei, working closely with engineering in the US and Taiwan, CMs across Asia, and cross-functional partners globally.

Basic qualifications

  • - 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • - Experience coordinating with contract manufacturers or ODMs in Asia
  • - Strong communication skills in English & Chinese

Preferred qualifications

  • - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • - Experience with IP cameras, video doorbells, IoT devices, or similar connected consumer products
  • - Experience driving cost-down initiatives (component re-selection, process optimization, supplier negotiation)
  • - Experience building AI-assisted automations or workflows adopted by a team (automated reporting, data pipelines, supply risk monitors)
