- - Establish operational excellence standards for the OpenSearch Core Foundation systems, including availability, latency, and durability targets, and lead the team in meeting and exceeding those targets.
- - Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent; build a diverse, high-performing organization with a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- - Collaborate across OpenSearch and AWS with peer SDMs and Directors to align on shared infrastructure, resolve cross-team dependencies, and contribute to org-wide engineering strategy.
