Sr System Reliability Engineer

• Key job responsibilities
• As a System Reliability Engineer you will enable development of robotic solutions optimized for availability, life cycle cost and performance.

• - Provide Design for Reliability, Maintainability and Supportability guidance to new product and solutions introduction teams
• - Develop reliability models for complex electro-mechanical systems
• - Develop RAM Models for Amazon products and systems
• - Develop Failure Modes Effects Analysis
• - Develop reliability test plans and data collection strategies
• - Assess vendor reliability data
• - Advocate for the customer during the design process on failure modes, fault diagnostics and impacts to product supportability
• - Design tool kits, identify custom tools and other support mechanisms for Robotic Systems
• - Develop lifecycle support strategies and mechanisms for new products
• - Ensure supportability requirements and concerns are addressed for field launch
• - Work to identify opportunities for improved maintenance strategies
• - Develop tools, and assist with processes to expand diagnostic capabilities improve ergonomics, and reduce troubleshooting time

Basic qualifications

• - Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
• - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• - Experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems

Preferred qualifications

• - ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer or equivalent
• - Advanced degree in Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another applicable discipline.
• - Experience in automotive, defense, or industrial product development

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
