Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Prepare and file tax returns in coordination with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of indirect and/or direct tax accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and timely submission.
  • Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on ad hoc tax projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain tax compliance calendars and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tax processes.
  • Support the development of strategies to optimize tax compliance and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
  • Assist in gathering data for the preparation of tax provisions and provide general administrative support to the tax team.

In this regional role, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, manage complex tax obligations, coordinate with external advisors, and help drive excellence in tax governance and compliance processes. What You'll Do

  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance activities across several Latin American jurisdictions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, reporting, and regulatory submissions.
  • Review tax calculations, returns, and supporting documentation prepared by external advisors.
  • Support tax accounting activities, including provisions, reconciliations, and reporting under applicable accounting standards.
  • Partner with Accounting, Legal, Procurement, and other business teams to provide tax guidance and support.
  • Assist with tax audits, inquiries from authorities, and external audit requirements.
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess potential impacts to the business.
  • Identify tax risks and process improvement opportunities while contributing to stronger controls and governance.
  • Support transfer pricing and international tax compliance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization and technology solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, tax accounting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exposure to international tax and transfer pricing principles.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP or similar systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across different countries and deadlines.
  • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
