Position Purpose:

This position will work closely with the plant controller in his/her daily, weekly, and monthly task in managing financial results, and will need to possess strong process management and critical thinking skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

• •Review for accuracy then record daily manufacturing - usage and consumption?
• •Managing receipts, settlements, sales, invoicing, billing, payments, books, records, and financial statements.
• •Overseeing company accounting activities.
• •Enter all contracts for AR and AP?
• •Fill out and submit monthly govt reports, including Tonnage Taxes and Sorghum Checkoff?
• •Assist with internal and external audits?
• •Provide support to the front desk and AP Clerk.
• •Assist with inventory control, including cycle counting, parts tracking, etc
• •Help streamline existing processes and create new procedures.
• •Assist with organizing and general housekeeping of warehouse??
• •Filing end of the month or year reports to the provincial security regulatory authority

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• •1 to 3 years of experience preferred in accounting, financial planning and analysis, inventory, or asset control at a renewable fuel’s organization, but will train the right candidate?
• •Analytics and problem-solving skills
• •Knowledge of different accounting software and spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel
