Staff Accountant

STV is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office) in one of our offices located in Douglassville, PA or Philadelphia, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenue.
• •Prepares reports for monthly reporting package.
• •Prepares balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
• •Works with Manager to maintain the financial records of managed joint ventures.
• •Assists with various accounting tasks including posting journal entries, cash application, invoice posting, and vendor maintenance and validation.
• •Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts.
• •Participates in annual audits and special projects.
• •Work with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.

Qualifications

• •A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
• •Highly preferred experience within the A/E/C industry
• •Experience with Power BI preferred
• •Excellent communication
• •The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt

Compensation Range:

$58,480.63 - $66,835.00
