THE JOURNEY
Own daily store operations: Oversee all store activities, including goods receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, and waste management. Ensure every process follows Glovo's standards and that the store is ready to serve customers throughout its operating hours.
Lead and develop your team: Manage the store team, organize shifts and allocate responsibilities according to business needs. Set clear expectations, coach team members, monitor performance, and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive inventory accuracy and product availability: Own daily inventory routines, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, expiry-date checks, and investigation of discrepancies. Ensure products are correctly stored, available in the system, and removed from sale when unavailable, damaged, or expired.
Deliver an outstanding customer experience: Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time, minimize missing or incorrect items, and identify the root causes of customer complaints. Take corrective action to improve order quality, product availability, and overall service reliability.
Optimize productivity and cost: Monitor store performance, including order preparation time, picking productivity, labour efficiency, waste, and stock losses. Use data to identify opportunities, adjust staffing and workflows, and ensure the store meets its operational and financial targets.
Maintain high standards of safety and compliance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and safe for employees and couriers. Maintain appropriate food handling, cold-chain, hygiene, and storage standards, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal procedures.
Collaborate and drive continuous improvement: Work closely with central operations, supply, category management, demand planning, and other relevant teams to resolve operational issues, improve product availability, and implement new initiatives. Identify recurring problems, propose practical solutions, and ensure new processes are consistently adopted on the floor.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
3+ years of experience in store management, retail operations, supermarket operations, FMCG distribution, warehousing, or another high-volume operational environment.
Proven people management skills: You have directly supervised a frontline team, organized staffing and shifts, set performance expectations, and coached people to achieve operational targets.
Strong operational ownership: You understand how to run a store day to day, manage competing priorities, enforce procedures, and solve problems quickly without compromising service quality or safety.
Solid inventory management experience: You have worked with stock counts, replenishment, stock discrepancies, expiry dates, and waste management, and understand their impact on product availability and profitability.
A data-driven and analytical mindset: You are comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets to monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps, understand root causes, and follow up on corrective actions.
A proactive, hands-on attitude: You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. You take initiative, remain calm under pressure, and lead by example.
Strong communication skills: You communicate clearly with frontline teams and cross-functional stakeholders, and can work effectively in French. Professional working English is an advantage for communication with regional and central teams.
Experience in supermarkets, modern trade, convenience retail, or quick-commerce operations is a strong plus. Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse management systems, cold-chain products, or perishable goods is also an advantage.
