About the role
We're looking for a Strategic Account Manager to own and grow our relationship with one of the largest and most complex enterprise accounts in the Korea market. This is a named-account role: rather than managing a portfolio of mid-sized customers, you'll go deep on a single flagship conglomerate, building the relationships, account plan, and deal pipeline needed to expand our footprint across its business units.
You'll operate as the orchestrator of the account — bringing together pre-sales, technical, and partner resources to deliver solutions that map to the client's security priorities, while owning the commercial relationship end-to-end.
What you'll do
- Own the client relationship. Serve as the primary point of contact across the client's relevant business units and affiliates, building trust from working-level contacts up to executive sponsors.
- Build and execute a strategic account plan. Map the client's organizational structure, business priorities, and security initiatives, and translate them into a multi-year growth plan.
- Lead value-based selling. Identify customer pain points and business outcomes first, then position the right solution — rather than leading with product.
- Drive the full deal cycle. Qualify opportunities, coordinate proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close complex, often multi-stakeholder deals.
- Orchestrate internal resources. Partner closely with pre-sales engineers, marketing, and channel partners to deliver a coordinated account experience.
- Forecast and report. Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data, and provide regular account updates to regional leadership.
- Represent the company externally. Participate in executive briefings, quarterly business reviews, and relevant industry events.
What we're looking for
- 8–12 years of experience in enterprise or strategic account sales, ideally within cybersecurity, IT, or enterprise software/SaaS.
- A track record of managing and growing large, complex accounts — experience with conglomerate or multi-business-unit customers is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success with value selling: diagnosing customer needs and pain points and aligning them to a vision, rather than transactional or feature-led selling.
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate both technical and business audiences.
Nice to have
- Existing relationships within large Korean conglomerates and their affiliates.
- Prior exposure to the cybersecurity industry — not required, but a strong asset given the account's focus area.
