As a Procurement & Expense Management Specialist reporting to The Director, you'll play a critical role in driving cost optimization strategies, leading special projects, and delivering actionable insights across all categories of spend at Nasdaq.

You'll thrive in this position if you're analytical, consultative, and collaborative — with a passion for translating complex data into clear, strategic recommendations in a fast-paced, global company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support special projects and expense management initiatives across spend categories including Technology, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Market Data.
  • Analyze internal and external spend data to identify savings opportunities and develop effective purchasing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to align sourcing strategies with organizational priorities.
  • Lead competitive bid evaluations and deliver well-reasoned recommendations through rigorous analysis.
  • Develop and present executive summary materials to senior leadership, clearly communicating findings and strategic recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5–10 years of experience in procurement, expense management, sourcing, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platforms and contract or vendor management systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba).
  • Clear communicator with demonstrated ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting experience in a procurement or strategic sourcing context.
  • Experience with Power BI or other advanced analytics tools.
  • Exposure to change management or project management methodologies.

The base pay range for this role is $90,000 - $153,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
