Job Description & Summary

About the role:

Our specialist Working Capital team is part of our broader Operational Restructuring team within Value Creation and Realisation. We work closely with our clients to develop sustainable solutions to free up cash from our client’s balance sheets. Our skills and knowledge are applied and gradually transferred to improve working capital management, leaving clients with sustainable performance improvement.

As a Senior Manager you will work with cross-functional stakeholders across many different Industries. You will be responsible for the assessment of current performance and leading change and transformation efforts. You will lead specific work-streams of projects and manage operational client stakeholders on a day to day basis.

What your days will look like:

Review of working capital cycles in a business, and (often rapid) diagnostic of key issues and areas for concern

Rapidly understand key business processes and working capital requirements

Financial analysis of opportunities for working capital reduction, within context of commercial requirements of business

Development of practical action plans to address working capital opportunities

Working alongside management to implement and support project plans

Post implementation reviews and monitoring of performance improvement

Assessment of capabilities of operational and management teams within an organisation and identification of skill gaps

Tracking and evaluation of working capital performance

Preparation of presentations and/or reports to key stakeholders (e.g. Board level/management)

The role is for you if you have:

Deep experience of managing improvement / transformation projects across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and Forecast-to-Fulfil (Inventory) end-to-end processes

Experience of managing working capital improvement / transformation programmes

Experience in or exposure to complex stakeholder environments (with stakeholders such as Purchasing, Supply Chain, Credit Control, etc)

Proven project and time management skills

Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised working environment

Software/Technologies: Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau
