The Structural Building Team is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to support the continued growth of our Winnipeg office team.

Your role

• •Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications (steel, concrete, wood, masonry, etc.).
• •Participate in projects across Canada, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and supporting national project delivery.
• •Conduct studies, surveys, technical reports, and structural inspections.
• •Supervise the execution of structural work during the construction phase and provide construction support.
• •Ensure that engineering work is produced in accordance with industry quality standards and complies with the National Building Code and applicable Provincial building codes.
• •Coordinate projects impacting structural design with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, architecture, process, etc.).
• •Maintain and develop strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• •Develop and mentor junior staff through coaching, technical guidance, and ongoing performance feedback.
• •Contribute to proposal development, including scope definition, technical input, and working closely with project managers and business development teams.

About you

• •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• •Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an asset.
• •Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.
• •5-10 years of previous related experience in a similar role is preferred.
• •Strong experience with structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.).
• •Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• •Detail oriented with the ability to manage changing priorities.
