What You Will Do
- Perform structural analysis of Fan, Low-Pressure Compressor (LPC) components via hand calculations and finite element analysis
- Utilize analysis results to provide recommendations/proposals to the Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Work closely with all engineering disciplines on the IPT to identify balanced solutions to technical tasks.
- Utilize the latest P&W structural best practices and analytical tools.
- Provide documentation of analyses in the form of formal reports and presentations for management and customers.
- Identify structural risks within work of moderate scope to ensure project completion
- Travel up to 10%
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience
Qualifications We Prefe r
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Airfoils/Blades
- Proficiency in structural finite element methods.
- Focus on results and the ability to drive tasks to completion.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging excellent written and oral communication skills required to convey results and ideas effectively to drive business.
- Demonstrated experience working well within a team and possessing a positive attitude toward meeting individual and group commitments.

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)
Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.
Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
