• You will be responsible for:
• •Assisting with Canadian indirect tax compliance and reporting
• •Overseeing timely remittance of tax payments (income tax and indirect tax)
• •Working with Finance teams to provide indirect tax assistance on ongoing operating initiatives and respond to other indirect tax queries
• •Providing ongoing support to the Investment Tax team on any indirect tax issues or risks arising on transactions
• •As time permits, assisting with Enterprise-wide non-transaction tax projects or income tax compliance (as directed by senior team members)

• Preferred Skills & Experience:
• •Enrolled in a college or university program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or related field
• •Some knowledge of Finance and/or Tax principles preferred
• •Ability to deliver sound results, while handling multiple priorities with competing deadlines
• •Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down big projects into achievable components
• •Ability to build relationships and work constructively with internal colleagues and stakeholders
• •Demonstrates an ownership mindset and takes accountability for his/her responsibilities
• •Demonstrates sound judgment

The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.

You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
