Supportive Oncology NP PA

About this role:

As a Supportive Oncology APP you will collaborate closely with Oncology, Hospice, and Palliative Care physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver patient-centered care focused on goals-of-care discussions, symptom management, and care coordination.

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, performing physical examinations, and helping patients and families navigate complex medical decisions and transitions of care. You will play an integral role in ensuring a seamless, compassionate, and supportive experience throughout the patient's healthcare journey while promoting quality of life and aligning care with each patient's values and preferences.

• •You will practice primarily at McKay Dee Cancer Center with occasional coverage in Layton
• •Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
• •This position includes up to $7,500 in relocation assistance, if applicable

What you’ll bring:

• •APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program 1-2 years of experience in Oncology or Hospice and Palliative Care, Preferred New graduates with a nursing background in Oncology or Hospice and Palliative Care will be considered
• •Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• •Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
• •Recommending Medical Provider (RMP) Liscense
• •Ability to successfully com plete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $57.33 - $88.47
