Sustainable Finance Intern

Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027

Overview

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and assisting clients reach their sustainability targets by structuring financing solutions? Are you excited by structuring client deals? If yes, then this internship is for you!

Job Description:

This is a front office role in Asian Investment Banking Division (AIBD). You will be:

• •Assisting senior Sustainable Finance team members in promoting Sustainable Finance in APAC, including the origination and structuring of Sustainable finance transactions
• •Supporting business development and marketing initiatives such as analysing the market, data analysis of the client targets, rating tools
• •Developing/enhancing products
• •Preparing marketing materials/ reports / business management reports
• •Supporting on MUFG led industry events
• •Partnering with various RM and product areas to develop and market Sustainable finance products
• •Receiving cross-product experience across Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance, Transaction Banking – from a Sustainable Finance perspective

Job Requirement:

Skill set

• •High Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Word
• •Excellent oral and writing skills
• •Data Analytics (be comfortable in generating a story from numbers)
• •Interests/passion for Sustainability and/or Sustainable finance
• •Keen to read research papers and keep up with latest innovations
• •Mandarin language proficiency would be advantageous, as the role may involve supporting Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only.
