About the Role As the Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Brand, you will serve as the executive steward of Freshworks’ global brand reputation, corporate narratives, and market positioning. Based in our San Mateo office in a hybrid capacity, you will lead the global Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Social Media, and Brand Strategy organizations. You will partner directly with the CEO, Board, and executive leadership team to elevate our global category leadership, shape market perception, and build integrated campaign engines that drive top-line revenue growth across global markets.
What You'll Do
- Develop and communicate the global corporate communications and brand strategy, directly linking narrative frameworks, public positioning, and media execution to long-term corporate goals.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a global organization across PR, corporate communications, analyst relations, brand identity, and social media, creating alignment and building leadership bench strength across functions.
- Partner directly with C-suite executives and Board members to govern executive communications, investor messaging, crisis response, and high-stakes external media strategy.
- Oversee the end-to-end development of global brand identity, visual guidelines, and integrated campaign architectures that support multi-tier customer acquisition across SMB, Commercial, and Enterprise segments.
- Establish a disciplined operational rhythm for global agency governance, PR beats, keynotes, and industry events, ensuring global press and social media programs maximize positive share of voice.
- Sponsor cross-functional measurement systems and scorecards to evaluate brand equity, pipeline influence, and communications ROI, swiftly refining strategies in response to evolving market dynamics.
-
- 25–30 years of progressive marketing and communications leadership experience within enterprise software or B2B SaaS companies, with a track record of driving global brand scale.
- Executive leadership experience managing large global teams and driving brand strategies tied directly to multi-hundred-million-dollar revenue pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with vision and strategy by shaping corporate narrative frameworks and translating long-term business priorities into measurable departmental plans.
- Proven commitment to investing in people through authentic executive leadership, fostering an inclusive organizational culture, and sponsoring high-potential talent across global teams.
- Track record of executing with excellence by instilling disciplined operating rhythms, managing global agency networks, and demonstrating operational leverage against headcount and program budgets.
- Exceptional executive presence, oral articulation, and written communication skills with extensive experience serving as an official spokesperson to Tier-1 media and industry analysts.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience leading brand transformations, IPO readiness, or M&A integration communications for publicly listed technology enterprises.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications).

Organizations everywhere struggle under the crushing costs and complexities of “solutions” that promise to simplify their lives. To create a better experience for their customers and employees. To help them grow. Software is a choice that can make or break a business. Create better or worse experiences. Propel or throttle growth. Business software has become a blocker instead of ways to get work done.
There’s another option. Freshworks. With a fresh vision for how the world works.
At Freshworks, we build uncomplicated service software that delivers exceptional customer and employee experiences. Our enterprise-grade solutions are powerful, yet easy to use, and quick to deliver results. Our people-first approach to AI eliminates friction, making employees more effective and organizations more productive. Over 72,000 companies, including Bridgestone, New Balance, Nucor, S&P Global, and Sony Music, trust Freshworks’ customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX) software to fuel customer loyalty and service efficiency. And, over 4,500 Freshworks employees make this possible, all around the world.
Fresh vision. Real impact. Come build it with us.
