Syndicate Banker, Director

The Syndicate Banker is a senior level position responsible for centralizing the Spread Products (SP) syndications, predominantly Latin American private structured credits originated and structured by the Emerging Market Credit Trading team. The Senior Syndicate Professional will be covering the whole Latin America while being based in Panama City, Panama. The selected candidate will have direct access to Citi clients as well as indirect access via coverage professionals within markets as well as within SP, in addition to be in charge of finding new clients.

Responsibilities:

• •Assume significant levels of responsibility for the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development, and overall growth of the firm
• •Work closely with clients on obtaining the commitments necessary to complete syndications, while guide them through the process, including leading due diligence, drafting sessions, and supporting efforts for their internal committees
• •Work with clients and their senior and C level team members, but also covering dialogues with professional advisors involved in potential transaction which might lead to our syndications
• •Responsible for drafting pitch materials, information memoranda, investor, and management presentations and oversee work being performed by analysts & associates assigned to projects

Qualifications:

• •Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and trading, syndications within private credit
• •Strong overall experience in the Financial Services industry, with specific focus on Private Structured Credit
• •Degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
• •MBA or Master's Degree in Business preferred
• •Comprehensive knowledge of the corporate banking business and its related products, pertinent regulations and lending and credit approval processes
• •Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• •Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade finance, and securities products
• •Series 79, 7 and 63 licenses.
• •Local Markets registrations/licenses.

Education:

• •Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• •Master’s degree preferred
