Territory Sales Rep- Thomas Built Buses Responsiblities:
Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to grow Thomas Built Bus market share throughout Ontario.
Build and maintain relationships with:
School bus operators
School boards and transportation consortiums
Municipalities
Private transportation providers
Commercial and shuttle bus operators
Prospect and develop new customer accounts while strengthening existing relationships.
Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and fleet consultations.
Prepare quotations, proposals, specifications, and bid submissions.
Manage public and private RFP opportunities.
Coordinate customer orders from initial sale through delivery.
Attend industry trade shows, customer events, and transportation conferences.
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
Collaborate with service, parts, and financing teams to provide exceptional customer support.
Stay current on industry trends, government regulations, and emerging transportation technologies, including electric vehicle solutions.
Territory Sales Rep- Thomas Built Buses Requirements:
3+ years of outside sales experience.
Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close business opportunities.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively throughout Ontario.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Experience selling commercial vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, buses, transportation equipment, or fleet solutions.
Knowledge of public sector procurement and tendering processes.
Experience working with municipalities, school boards, or transportation contractors.
Understanding of fleet operations and transportation management.
$30,000-$50,000+ commission with significant earning potential.
