Job Summary



 To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Test Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus

Reporting to the Sr Test Engineer the Test Engineer role involves responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment

What a typical day looks like:

• •Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
• •Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.
• •Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (Python).
• •Develops instrument drivers.
• •Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
• •Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
• •Develops test plans and procedures.
• •Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures.
• •Develops quotations for functional test hardware and software.
• •Analyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware).
• •Develops and/or modifies software or system level plans and tests.
• •Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
• •Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
• •Performs test ability analysis (DFT).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• •Bachelor´s Degree in Electronics, mechatronics or related.
• •Strong experience as a Test Engineer
• •Intermediate- Advanced English
• •Experience with ICT´s and functional test
• •Experience implementing improvements
• •Knowledge of switches
• •Experience with protocols and networks
• •Experience with server products, protocols, and networks
• •Experience managing test KPIs
• •Personnel management
• •Advanced Excel
• •Python programming skills desirable
• •Schedule availability
• •Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (i.e. Python, Lab View, Perl etc.).
