Job Description Summary

The Through Life Support Engineer – Services Technology supports the development and improvement of service solutions by leveraging customer and fleet data to assess and enhance engine/product performance throughout the lifecycle. The role focuses on reliability, availability, maintenance, safety, and related service parameters, ensuring that technical and operational activities are carried out effectively and with high quality standards.

Working within defined processes and technical guidelines, this position executes routine operational tasks while applying sound judgment to adapt work priorities and sequencing based on evolving business and customer requirements.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Define maintainability requirements and collaborate with engineering teams across the full product lifecycle, from design through In-Service support, to ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of maintenance planning, including preventive, predictive, and corrective activities
  • Support fleet modeling activities to determine spare parts requirements throughout the entire engine lifecycle
  • Define support and test equipment requirements , with particular focus on packaging, handling, storage, and transportation needs for critical components and equipment
  • Identify manpower and staffing requirements for the various maintenance bases
  • Define training requirements for operators, as well as the need for technical publications and related support documentation
  • Participate in cross-functional teams during lean events aimed at improving productivity within service contract execution

Required Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering , or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Clear, structured thinking with a careful and diligent approach to work
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required
  • Fluency in English and Italian

Contract Level: CCNL metalmeccanico – level B2

  • Salary range for this role: 35.475,00 euro - 53.212,50 euro + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro
  • Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
