Tiktok & Social Media Manager

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9AM to 5PM BST (flexible), 40 hrs/week; 4 hours overlapping during onboarding

About the Role

The client is seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Manager with a strong focus on influencer management, content repurposing, and paid social support.

This role will take ownership of day-to-day social media execution - identifying and engaging influencers, coordinating collaborations, repurposing video and image content, and supporting paid social advertising initiatives. The ideal candidate understands how to build brand visibility through authentic partnerships, engaging short-form content, and data-informed decision-making.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced e-commerce/product environment and enjoys turning creative ideas into measurable growth

Responsibilities

Influencer Strategy & Engagement

Identify, vet, and outreach to UK-based influencers aligned with the brand’s target audience.

Build and manage influencer relationships, negotiations, and campaign coordination.

Track influencer performance and optimize partnerships based on engagement and ROI.

Develop gifting, affiliate, and partnership initiatives to increase brand visibility and sales.

Social Media Management

Manage and grow GoGlean’s social media presence across key platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).

Plan and schedule content aligned with product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

Monitor trends and adapt content strategies to maintain relevance and engagement.

Video & Image Editing / Content Repurposing

Edit and repurpose influencer-generated and in-house content into short-form videos, reels, ads, and promotional creatives.

Create platform-optimised assets from existing product videos and imagery.

Ensure consistent brand tone, visual identity, and messaging across all channels.

Paid Social Support

Support the setup, testing, and optimisation of paid social campaigns (primarily Meta platforms).

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop ad creatives and variations.

Monitor ad performance metrics and contribute to data-driven improvements.

Performance & Reporting

Track social and influencer KPIs including engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI.

Provide regular reports and insights to improve strategy and campaign performance.

Stay up to date with evolving platform algorithms and industry best practices.

Competencies and Qualifications

Must-Have

3+ years of experience in TikTok, Tiktok Affiliate and Tiktok Ads

Experience in social media management, preferably within e-commerce or consumer product brands.

Experience repurposing content into high-performing short-form formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).

Proven experience managing influencer outreach, partnerships, and campaign coordination.

Strong video and image editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar tools).

Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook growth strategies.

Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and basic paid social campaign setup.

Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate and build influencer relationships.

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance metrics and optimise accordingly.

Nice-to-Have

Experience working with UK-based brands or targeting UK audiences.

Background in home improvement, DIY, cleaning, or garden product industries.

Experience managing affiliate or ambassador programs.

Hands-on experience scaling paid social campaigns for e-commerce brands.

Basic knowledge of UGC strategy and conversion-focused content frameworks.

Experience with Shopify or e-commerce analytics tools.
