  • The Role:
  • The Title and Escrow Relationship Manager will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer and will be tasked with driving account and deposit growth for the bank, with a particular focus on developing relationships within the title insurance companies, escrow agents, settlement, and real estate closing services. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned banking expert with an entrepreneurial mindset driven by continuous growth and improvement to maximize the client experience. This individual will be responsible for cultivating new deposit relationships across a broad range of commercial clients while also developing a strong network within the title and escrow community and positioning the bank as a trusted financial partner to businesses with complex deposit, escrow, and treasury management needs.

Responsibilities :

Drive the growth of deposit relationships with commercial businesses, title insurance companies, real estate escrow providers, closing services, real estate-related businesses, and other organizations maintaining significant operating or custodial deposit balances.

Identify and secure new clients to build a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities and deliver against sales targets, including building a network of key decision-makers and referral sources within the title, escrow, settlement, and commercial real estate communities.

Partner with prospective title and escrow clients to understand their unique account structures, transaction activity, liquidity requirements, and treasury management needs, and deliver appropriate banking solutions.

Responsible for all phases of the client service and sales life cycle including lead generation, utilization of relevant systems, adherence to policies, leveraging product knowledge, and assessing the broader banking needs of prospects.

Support deposit-related marketing and business development strategies by actively participating in relevant trade, community, and client networking events, particularly those serving the title, escrow, settlement, and real estate industries.

Develop and maintain constructive relationships with trade associations, cooperative councils, the financial community, title and settlement industry organizations, referral partners, and other institutions to enhance new business generation.

Qualifications :

Proven sales track record in generating new deposit business and developing meaningful commercial banking relationships.

Ideally, proven success in developing relationships with title and escrow companies, large institutions, non-profits, and/or other specialty sectors.

Experience developing business within or has operating experience within the title, escrow, settlement, real estate services, or similar deposit-intensive industries is strongly preferred.

Understanding of the banking and treasury needs of title and escrow businesses, including operating, custodial/escrow, and high-transaction-volume account relationships, is highly desirable.

Experience in using tools such as Softpro

Strong business development skills and a demonstrated ability to independently source and develop new relationships.

Ability to work and thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Commercial real estate banking experience is preferred.

Experience calling on and working with commercial businesses and senior-level financial decision-makers.

Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to identify and pursue new markets and business opportunities.

Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The hiring range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
