What Rockwell Needs from You

We have an immediate hiring need for our tool and die repair technician on 1st shift. You will report to the facilities supervisor. You will be onsite in our Ladysmith, WI production plant.
Schedule: This is a 3rd Shift role (Sunday-Thursday 11:00PM- 7:00AM)
with 10% shift differential pay.
Job Summary:
Constructs, modifies machine shop tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Work with engineers and tool designers to develop tools. Utilize blueprints, specifications and diagrams. Checks work with measuring instruments.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Maintain molds.
- Modifies, calibrates plastic injection mold tools, dies, jigs and fixtures.
- Repair or manufacture parts to maintain production tooling/molds.
- Confer with engineers, production, and others to resolve tooling related problems.
- Select, align, and secure holding fixture, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, EDM's, lathes and grinders.
- Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
- Perform general maintenance on Toolroom equipment.
The Essentials- What You Will Have:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Follow written or verbal directions.
- Read printed materials.
The Preferred- You May Also Have:
Machine Tool or Mold/Die background (CNC mill, lathe, surface grinder).

- Work within Team Environment
- Visual and Hand Dexterity
- Sit and stand for long periods
- Use proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures
