What you will do
We are recruiting a Trainee Field Service Technician to support the installation of our sensor technology. This is a field‑based role , primarily covering Birmingham and the South of the UK .
During your training period, you will be required to travel UK‑wide , including regular overnight stays away from home . You will work mainly on customer sites and must be flexible, as working hours include shift patterns with early morning and late finishes , depending on project requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who is practical, technically minded and keen to build a career in field services.

How you will do it
- Assist with the installation and testing of sensor technology
- Prepare and install hardware on customer sites
- Review floor plans to determine equipment requirements
- Maintain accurate Excel‑based installation records
- Complete on‑site system testing
- Document all work in line with company standards
What we are looking for
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home
- Flexibility to work early and late shift patterns
- Good IT skills, including use of Excel
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Confident communicator with customers and colleagues
- Physical ability to carry out installations, including working at height using ladders, bending and working under desks
