In-Home Aide (IHA) Training Program
Caring Hands Home Health Inc.
720 W. Hargett Street, Raleigh, NC 27603
Delivery Mode: Hybrid (Virtual coursework + On-site skills lab)
Program Overview Our IHA Training Program equips aspiring caregivers with the knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver safe, compassionate care in home- and community-based settings. Participants complete self-paced online modules followed by a hands-on skills practicum in our training lab.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Fundamentals of personal care, safety, and infection control
- Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Proper body mechanics and mobility support
- Effective communication with clients, families, and clinical teams
- Real-world caregiving practice under the guidance of an experienced instructor
Class Format:
- Part 1: Virtual learning
- Part 2: In-person, hands-on skills training
Cost:
- $79.99 (introductory rate)
