Transportation Specialist I skilled in freight payment processing, operational cost control, and logistical data analysis to optimize network efficiency.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Execute freight payment processing, invoice validation, and data entry for OTR transportation operations, ensuring billing accuracy and timely payments while supporting the team with routine cost control activities.
  • A day in the life
  • You will work on regular weekly and monthly schedules to compile service utilization data for a set of carriers in transportation, execute validations and release payments to these service providers. Execute regular cost analysis for problem solving and to generate insights that support business decisions.
  • Generate regular and Ad-hoc reports, studies and account reconciliations. Participate in department, cross-functional and third-party business meetings.
  • Interacts directly with Operations, Finance, Procurement and Carrier Payment representatives.

  • ATS Strategy and Operations Excellence mission is to drive ATS-wide strategies, enhance operational excellence cross-functionally, and ensure that Amazon Brazil's transportation network — across Middle Mile, Sort Centers, and Yard Operations is prepared to deliver the business objectives ahead of scaling demands.

Basic qualifications

  • - Experience with Excel
  • - Experience with SQL
  • - Experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data
  • - Knowledge of general AI tools
  • - Bachelor's degree

- Experience in transportation or supply chain
