Uniform Room Attendant

Position Summary: The Uniform Room Attendant at Eldora is responsible for issuing, collecting, cleaning, and organizing employee uniforms to ensure all staff are properly outfitted for their roles. This position maintains inventory, performs basic repairs, and ensures uniforms meet resort standards for cleanliness and presentation. The role supports smooth daily operations by providing excellent service to employees and upholding a professional image for the resort. The hours for this position will fluctuate with Eldora's needs throughout the season.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Issue and collect uniforms for all resort employees in a timely and organized manner.

Maintain accurate records of uniform inventory, distribution, and returns.

Inspect uniforms for cleanliness, damage, or wear, and arrange for laundering, repairs, or replacements as needed.

Perform basic repairs, such as patching minor tears with gortex patches.

Organize and store uniforms by department, size, and type for easy access.

Coordinate with laundry services or operate in-house laundry equipment as required.

Ensure all uniforms meet resort standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.

Provide friendly, professional service to employees while assisting with uniform needs.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the uniform room and storage areas.

Assists HR team with daily functions when needed; this includes answering phones, processing passes, efficient use of sales point products, greeting and directing employees & data entry.

Assists with special events like HR Orientations, Employee parties and recruiting events

Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.

All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in our Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions , lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.

Specific Job Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office & data entry

Ability to read, writes, and speaks fluently in English

Education/Related Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

A bility to pass background check that meet company standards .

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 35 pounds above head

Ability to be standing, sitting or walking for up to eight hours

Ability to bend and kneel for extended periods of time

Working in various weather conditions, including high alpine conditions

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $18+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.
