Greet patients and determine nature of the visit; prepare and assist patients for visit.

Compensation Pay Range:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• •Maintain patient's safe passage in and out of the practice
• •Greet, assess and interview patients
• •Obtain past medical and surgical history, family history, social history, vital signs
• •Review present medications, allergy history, chief complaint
• •Prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider
• •Anticipate needs of patients, and the provider
• •Monitoring of patient during examination, or procedure
• •Maintain patient care areas
• •Stocking and ordering of supplies as needed, and maintaining clean exam rooms
• •Charge and code supplies, medications, and procedures
• •Respond to patient's concerns in person or by telephone while simultaneously documenting the problem
• •Maintains patient confidentiality
• •Administers medications and IVs per physician’s orders
• •Perform a variety of preliminary procedures, including phlebotomy, injections, throat cultures and more

Schedule and Location vary weekly, including rotating weekends and holidays. Required - 2 weekend shifts per month.

Operation hours Monday - Friday 9a-7p (10-hour shift), Saturday - Sunday 9a-4p (7-hour shift)

ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), Emergency Medical Services EMT Paramedic - Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) - Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), INSTRUCTOR- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), INSTRUCTOR- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
