Quaker Valley Foods, a refrigerated food distributor located in Northeast Philadelphia is looking to expand our Overnight Order Selector team! Are you detail oriented and able to select products accurately in a warehouse environment?

As a warehouse worker, you'll select products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack. Our warehouse is temperature controlled, ranging anywhere from 30 degrees in the cooler to 0 degrees in the freezer.

Responsibilities:

• •Efficiently locate, select, stack on a pallet, and label product for shipment to customers.
• •Navigate warehouse equipment to ensure customer orders are collected.
• •Use wireless headset/voice-automated selection system.
• •Communicate with coworkers and supervisors to optimize work completion.
• •Perform visual inspections of orders to ensure they are correct and ready for shipment.
• •Ensure company policies are met at all times.

Qualifications:

• •Able to lift up to 50lbs. frequently.
• •Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen.
• •Must have solid verifiable previous work history, preferably in a freezer based warehouse environment with 2 years ride on electric pallet jack experience
• •Must be dependable.

SCHEDULE:

• •Overnight shift (8:30 pm start)
• •8 hour shifts
• •Overtime available

• •Basic mathematic skills.
• •Good communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills
• •Ability to lift heavy loads (25-100 lbs) and remain standing for long periods
• •2+ years of experience using an electric ride-on standing pallet jack.
• •Hands on experience in voice picking systems
• •Attention to Detail.
• •Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts in a cold environment
• •Highschool diploma or GED
