SALARY: £72,702 - £80,780
LOCATION: London
HOURS: Full-time

What you’ll be doing
We’re looking for a UX Designer to support our Machine Learning Lab within the Agentic & AI Platform, primarily working on Atlas, our Machine Learning service.
As the Lab’s dedicated UX Designer, you’ll have the autonomy to shape how colleagues onboard to, access and use our Machine Learning capabilities, taking ownership from ambiguous problems and end-to-end journey shaping through to detailed UX and UI delivery.
You’ll be comfortable moving between the big picture and the detail, shaping coherent service journeys while designing the interactions and interfaces that bring them to life.
It’ll be your role to:
- Take ownership of UX within the Machine Learning Lab, proactively identifying opportunities and bringing structure and user-centred thinking to ambiguous or evolving problems.
- Shape end-to-end Atlas experiences, mapping current and future journeys to identify friction and simplify onboarding and self-service.
- Turn complex Machine Learning concepts, processes and technical requirements into clear, intuitive user experiences.
- Create user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, taking ideas from early concepts through to detailed UI and delivery.
- Use research, usability testing and feedback to challenge assumptions and iterate designs.
- Work independently within the Machine Learning Lab while collaborating with the wider Experience Design community to create consistent journeys and contribute to shared A&AI patterns, components and design systems.
- Champion accessible and inclusive design throughout the experience.
Why join us?
From building a truly sustainable business to creating a place where people love to work, we’re looking for colleagues who are up for the challenge, who love to push boundaries and can make change happen. Sound like you?
What we’re looking for?
- Strong experience as a UX, Product or Interaction Designer, with excellent end-to-end journey, interaction design, prototyping and UI skills.
- A proactive, self-starting approach, with experience taking ownership of design and identifying opportunities within multidisciplinary teams.
- Confidence working through ambiguity, bringing structure to complex problems and taking them from discovery and journey definition through to detailed design and delivery.
- Strong hands-on capability in Figma, including working with and contributing to established design systems and patterns.
- Experience designing colleague facing productivity web interfaces and services.
- Ability to understand complex processes and technical concepts and translate them into simple, intuitive experiences.
- Experience using research, usability testing and evidence to inform and improve designs.
- Confidence working with Product and Engineering, communicating design rationale and constructively challenging assumptions.
- A strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design.
And any experience of these would be great
- Experience designing technically complex enterprise platforms, particularly onboarding, access, self-service or multi-system journeys.
- Working in financial services or another regulated environment.
- Contributing to shared design systems or component libraries.
