Job Description:
Join Job Duck as a Personal Injury Litigation Assistant and become a key support partner in a fast paced personal injury law practice. In this role, you will play a critical part in moving litigation matters forward by managing case related tasks, preparing legal documentation, coordinating depositions, and ensuring attorneys stay organized and prepared.

Success in this position requires strong legal judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to understand and analyze sophisticated case information with minimal supervision.

Monthly Compensation Range: $1,150 to $1,220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Track active cases and ensure they continue progressing efficiently
Manage attorney calendars, meetings, and scheduling requests
Monitor case deadlines and support timely completion of litigation tasks
Maintain accurate case records and ensure documentation is properly organized
Assist with litigation strategies and case progression activities
Review and analyze discovery materials and case related documentation
Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
Examine case files and legal records to identify critical information
Provide proactive support with minimal supervision while managing complex legal assignments independently
Maintain confidentiality of client and case information at all times
Identify opportunities to improve processes and administrative efficiency
Organize and prioritize incoming emails and communications
Coordinate and schedule depositions with all involved parties
Prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, and case related proceedings
Collaborate with attorneys and team members to support legal operations
Requirements:
Law Degree required
Advanced legal knowledge and litigation experience required
Personal Injury experience preferred
Prosecutor experience highly preferred
Civil Rights legal experience highly preferred
Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and legal documentation
Ability to independently manage complex case assignments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Exceptional reading comprehension and analytical abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
Low call volume position with limited phone communication responsibilities
